K SO I WENT TO A MOBILE CONCERT.
& it was awesomex94854895289980349823984823948239832.
COS THE BAND IS HELLA NICE lykwoah.
Oh..and Jeremy Taggart [drummer from Our Lady Peace] was there too. =P

MAT JOLY, CHRISTIAN "CRIQ" BRAIS, FRANK WILLIAMSON, DOMINIC VIOLA, AND PIERRE-MARC HAMELIN ROCK OUT BAD.
Oh..and Jeremy Taggart..he rocks too.

K so I'll start at the beggining-arriving early [at like 10:30a.m] and waiting to get in[we went early to get into V.I.P..but only like 45 people were there and 200 people get V.I.P].

So when we finally got in, we got a necklace with the V.I.P thinger on it, a stamp on our hand saying "V.I.P" and a ticket that said "refreshment" on it. We went into the V.I.P tent, and to my surprise..we got free lunch. yay..we didn't have to spend $30 on food. [it was good too (: ]

After lunch, we went to stand by the stage [we were front and center!] and Jeremy Taggart was talking about blowing up stuff..so he went to blow up some stuff.

The blowing up stuff was LAME TO THE MAX..they shouldn't have done that..

Then we got to watch the band set up, and I made Christian [Criq] smile for me in a photo by yelling out "CHRISTIAN!!!!!!!", and Pierre by yelling"PIERRE!!!!!" and Dominic [who looks strangely like the bravery dude..] by yelling "DOMINIC!!!!!!!" ya fun stuff. & I shouted "I LOVE YOUR HAT CHRISTIAN!!" like 29873498 times..

After the lameness, Jeremy Taggart did a drum solo on the drums [he played along with some Beatles song]..it was pretty good.

BUT THEN MOBILE CAME OUT AND LYK WOAH I went mental..[for Mobile?!] yes for Mobile..

[I noticed that Frank didn't come out..that was pretty sad..but then I saw him in the crowd and I saw that his arm was broken and everything was cool =)]

They played these songs [I got a set list..HA!] in this order: Hands Tied, New York Minute, Montreal Calling[<33], On Your Own, Tommorow Starts Today[<33], Scars, Dusting Down The Stars, Rain, Looking Out, How Can I Be Saved, Set The (?) [I think it's contract..], Bleeding Words[<333], Out Of My Head[<33], & See Right Through Me.[<333333] [Frank came up to play the last song..YAY!]

The crowd was pretty lame. The only people rockin-out were my sisters and I, which is why Mat was singing to US. Yes, MAT SANG TO US [me..i still think it was mostly me (: ] cos we were going mental and singing to EVERY song..yes..that was so rad. He was pointing to us and singing..it was awesome.

& when I was taking a photo of mat being awesome, he posed for the photo..too bad I didn't get it..): ..BUT HE STILL POSED FOR ME!

& at sometime during the show, I was rocking out so hard along with Mobile, Mat threw a pic at me!
But due to my lack of being able to catch..well..anything basically..I didn't catch it. So the media dude that was inbetween the fence and the stage picked it up..AND TOOK IT. I was so mad..i thought he was gonna give it to me![more about this incident later.]

After the concert[and after my eardrums burst] I asked the dudes on stage for a set list like 987234987 times, but some girls were like "UM EXCUSE ME WE ASKED FIRST" and the guy that gave them thiers was like ripped to shreds and we got the good one..SO HA @ YOU. after that, we went up to the line where the band was..sharpie signing session..YESBOI.

I went up to Mat [this is where the pic story comes back in] and I asked him to sign my set list, and I was like "Hey Mat..sorry I didn't catch your pic :[" and he was like "you didn't catch it??? here let me check if i have another..nope sorry..hey criq do you got a pic on you?" and criq was like "yeah!" and he gave me one..YAY!
Then Mat was like "you stick around I'll get you some after, kay?"

then i went up to Criq and was like "hey dude i love your hat!" and he was like "oh you were the one saying that!!!" and i was like yeah..he also signed my set list[they all did]

after getting the signatures of mobile, i got a signature of Jeremy Taggart on my vip badge thinger..
[I don't give him enough credit..he's really good..so is OLP]
Then I got a pic with Mobile w/ Jeremy..it looks awesome AND MY HAND IS RESTING ON MATS SHOULDER lyk woah.

THEN we talked to jeremy..i was like "i love your shoes!" and he was like "thanks..it was produced in indonesia literally for cents! i bought these shoes for 2 cents! nah just kidding" and al and i were cracking up like i dont know what, jeremy is HILARIOUS.

after that, i was at the table and mat came out with 4 pics [one for all of us!] yay that made me so happy..cos i felt like shit when i didnt catch the pic he threw at us.

PILOT SPEED'S [Pilate's] VIDEO SHOOT WAS AWESOME.

On Sunday, July 9th, 2006, from 3:30 P.M-12:30 A.M, I was at Showline Studios being an extra in Pilot Speed's new music video, "Ambulance".
How awesome was it?!
KICK ASS.

For the first 2 hours, I didn't do anything but wait in the craft service room. We also got refreshments..coke, water, chips, apples, bread and peanut butter and jelly. I was about to go make a PB & J sandwich, but there were no knives. So my sisters and I were debating about how to get the peanut butter out of the jar. Later on, some guys brought in some knives.

After that, we finally got picked to go up. The concept of the video was that the extras were a sea of people, and Todd [the lead singer] was trying to go against us. The first shot was [I think] on a street, and we were supposed to brush against him and eventually bring him back to the microphone where the band was. It was so awesome..I bumped Todd a couple of times myself.

Oh, and once I was walking to the restrooms and I saw the drummer walk by. He said "How's it going?" to me..and I was just like "..Good!"
After a while I saw him again and he nodded to me and was like "Hey" and I was like "hi...=]" I was glad he recognized me.

Another one of the shots was when we had to bombarde the different band members. I bumped into all of the band members, especially the bassist. He was easiest to bump into. =]

For dinner, we got pizza..that's all I got to say about that.

One of the coolest shots [in my opinion there were 2] was near the ending. Todd would stand and try to walk against us, and we would just have to push him back. Everytime I did this shot, I would bump into him or push him. Once, I stayed there for like 30 seconds trying to push him back, and he was trying to push me back. After I got away, he punched me. I was punched by Todd. HOW AWESOME IS THAT?! He seemed so tired after this, everyone was abusing him.

My other favorite shot was the very last shot. Todd was on a tredmill-type thing, and there were apple boxes near the tredmill. He was walking one way on the "sidewalk", and the extras were walking the other on the apple boxes. It just went in a continuous circle.

This shooting was so amazing. I've never been on television, so this will be my first time.
I did everything I could to be in front of the camera.

Basically for the entire 9 hours, the extras [me] were running around in circles. We would walk slowly and nicely in front of the camera, but when we were out of the shot, we would run like animals behind the set to keep up the continuous circle/"sea" of people.

Alright, so I had some fun fun fun today.
For core classes today, we had a supply teacher. I dunno what his name was, but he could barely speak english, nor understand it. So we were basically doing nothing.
For the first period of core, we [me, Tory, Meghan, Kevin, Andreas, Jeffrey and Ragan] were playing cards. Signal and president.
Then the second period of core, we were being too loud so we went outside. and outside it was hella fun. Everyone was throwing dry grass at eachother, and we were playing soccer.
Then we went inside, and we did "math". No one [except Chenille xD] did their math..I was drawing on the chalkboard. :]

Only bad thing we did today was run to the bluffs, and that wasn't even that bad.
Running down was fun, running up was hell.

Tommorow's also gonna be tons of fun.
My sisters and I are going to a free block party/concert called BlockStorm. Alexisonfire, The Stills, The Trews, Attack In Black, and this other band are gonna be performing. There's also gonna be all these car stunts..sickness. =]

Dance sucked. More than usual.

At the beggining of the dance, everyone was just staring at the huge screen with the videos. But as the dance progressed; everyone got into the songs and were dancing.

The only >>okay<< songs they played were American Idiot, Dance Dance, I Write Sins Not Tradegies [soo tired of that song], and Thunderstruck.
When Thunderstruck started to play, sooo many kids love AC/DC, so they all started to go crazy. Some kids were like bobbing their head and they looked HILARIOUS.

Well whatever. I guess I shouldn't be telling you about how much school dances suck; you should already know. I guess I was just hoping that a Much Music Video Dance would be better..but I guess I was wrong. I actually like normal dances better because there's more room and half of the people aren't watching the giant screen.

I guess I just hated this dance.
But more than usual.
This dance sucked more than regular dances suck.

On saturday, I went to the wicked-est concert(s) ever. The free Fall Out Boy concert [brought to you by 102.1 The Edge and iCoke.ca =P] at Yonge-Dundas Square and I went to the Much On Demand special: All American Rejects & Fall Out Boy.

Let's start with the beggining of my day.

I woke up at about 9 o'clock, ready for the wack-ness to come.

We left at about 10 A.M, and got to Yonge-Dundas Square at about 10:45. When we got there, there was about 30-ish people there..only. As they day progressed more and more people came, and DJ Milhouse Brown [lmao] was playing music. I must point out that everyone was singing along to [inclding me] "I Caught Fire" by The Used..wicked song.

Oh, and these crazy emo kids behind us were making me laugh, but making the rest of my sisters pissed off.
This is what happened when they played "The Adventure" by Angels and Airwaves for the THIRD TIME of the morning:
Mel: OMG I HATE THIS SONG!

Me: I like it..but they played it THREE times already, yo!

Crazy emo girl behind us: WHY DONT YOU LIKE IT?!!! HE'S HOT!!!!

Mel: BUT THEY PLAYED IT THREE TIMES!!!

CEGBU: Wut everr.

And they shot out iCoke t-shirts, and I was yelling at the people to throw one at me. My sister caught one, and when she lets me wear it, I'll show you all it.

Everyone was expecting for the show to start at 12:00 [cos thats when they advertised it to start]. But guess what. THE SHOW STARTED AT 2-ISH PM.

Yeah. We waited for 3 hours and 15 minutes for a 6 song set by Fall Out Boy.

But guess what.

It was TOTALLY worth it. I went CRAZY.

They played 6 songs.

I can't remember the first song, Sugar We're Going Down, Dance, Dance, A Little Less Sixteen Candles, A Little More 'Touch Me', Grand Theft Autumn(Where Is Your Boy), and I can't remember the last song.

GRAND THEFT AUTUMN IS MY SONG. And so is Dead On Arrival..but they didn't play that.

But when they played Grand Theft Autumn..I WENT MENTAL. I was jumping and screaming sooo loud that my throat hurted A LOT afterwards. But..omg it was SO worth it.

After the F.O.B concert, my sisters and I went to the Eatons Centre for lunch. We had Poutine and a Fries-Surpreme type thing at New York Fries, and Bubble Tea.

I HATE bubble tea. Ew. Ew. Ew. Ew. EW. BARF. I hate it.

Don't ask.

After lunch, we went to HMV for the All American Rejects signing. OMG. The line was like...SOOO long. We just decided to go to Much Music and wait in line for the show there.

The line at Much was HUGE too..but for me, it was worth it. [Even though my sisters HATED the experience at Much.]

I could see inside because I stood on this bump thing..and here's the cool part:

It was wicked-cool.

And everyone in the audience was singing and swaying when the songs played.

Oh, and for all you that care, I saw Tim, Leah and Devon at Much.

And I KNOW lots of you care.

K so I missed the jam.
And my lesson.

I went to the sci-tech fair at UTSC[University Of Toronto At Scarborough] with Chenille. It was hella boring..but it was jokes.
Our project suckedd. Omg..there were some crazy ass projects there. "How does a computer work", "N.E.R.D [A wicked robot]", "Spy Machine"...and ours was "What's the strongest material to make a bridge?" The judges seemed tres bored.
Lolzz Chenille and I took pretty long to find the student center for lunch..we like walked around the whole campus and we almost walked into the residence place..=P lolz that was fun though.
I went to my aunt's place yesterday for her birthday party.
It was pretty..actually it was okay [compared to other parties].
OMG I OWN "GUITAR HERO"..this game on PS2. Isn't it ironic that I rocked that game the first time I played it and I play the guitar?? No one else at the party wanted to play it because they "sucked"..omg I want ps2 now. =(.

OMGzzz I forgot to ask Steve for the CD with me, Ryan and Steve on it. CRAPP. I have to wait another week..but so do you!! HAA.
The jam was..okayy. Not the greatest, because I didn't know half the songs they played. Dylan from Bliss came though..but I don't think he recognized mee.
Omg I want my pencil back.

Drum lesson went well, but I need to burn a CD with songs that I wanna learn on it. Any suggestions on drum songs I should learn??

First week back from March break..and it was normal.
Ohhh, except we had a party for Ms. Casey. I don't think anyone really cared that Ms. Casey left [no offense =S], I just think that everyone wanted a break.
The entire time I was eating chips and playing cards with Abi, Shanice, Jeffrey, Philip, Ragan, Minelva..anyone I missed??
Someone should've brought in poker chips. MANN..I wanted to play Texas Hold 'Em.

Recording Session!!
K well the jam was yesterday..omg it was so fun. Only Ryan and I went [because of March Break]..but it was still hella fun. We recorded "Doesn't Remind Me" by Audioslave. I played all the electric guitar parts and the distortion parts in the chorus, Steve played bass and drums, and Ryan played the acoustic tracks underneath the electric. Oh, and Ryan also played the solo [cos Steve knows I suck at soloing lol] and Ryan's solo's rock..lol. We [meaning Steve and I] recorded more tracks and re-did some stuff, and I'll have a cd of the recording by next week. And I did the solo, and Steve said he'd morph the 2 solo's together to make one wicked one. WOO. I'll bring the CD to school, but someone has to bring a cd player because mine skips like crazy and it doesn't have batteries. =P

March Break is over..
And I don't give a tiny rat's ass. =).
March Break SUCKED. All I did was chat/play on the computer, play my guitar and my drums, go out to the Jam's and lessons at 4the music, and watch tv. Oh, and we went to Brampton, but that was pretty boring as well. My only chance to go out was today to my aunt's, but that would be even /more/ boring and I would have to baby-sit my little cousin. So NO. Whatevahh, I'm going back to school on Monday and I'll be wishing that we had a week off. I don't know what I want..lolz.
